What is TCS National Qualifier Test ?


TCS National Qualifier Test is a exam conducted by TCS every year to hire freshers. According to some news websites, TCS will hire 40,000 new freshers through TCS National Qualifier Test in 2021. TCS has announced its National Qualifier Test in the month of August and November 2021. Before this,TCS has recently conducted National Qualifier Test for freshers in May and February 2021. TCS and other companies associated with TCS like Tata Electronics, Titan, Equifax, Data patterns, Chroma, Wishtree, Mosambee, UXD Jobs etc also hires freshers through the score card of TCS NQT. That is why attending this exam becomes important for freshers.

Eligibility Criteria :


1. Candidate pursuing UG, PG and Diploma who are in their final and pre-final year are also eligible to attend this exam.
2. Candidate having 0-2 years of experience can attend NQT Test.
3. Candidate with any degree and specialisation/discipline can apply for this exam.

About The Test:


1. Cognitive Skills test under NQT is a prerequisite for all the tests i.e. you will have to attend cognitive skills test if you want to attend other tests under NQT like Industry NQT, Psychometric Test and Subject NQT.
2. The score card of TCS NQT will be valid for two-years.
3. Exam is conducted either online (at home) or physical In-Centre at TCS iON Authorised Exam Centres.
4. Candidate with NQT Score will be eligible to apply on the TCS iON Job Listing Portal.
5. Candidate can apply for any entry-level role in any corporate with the NQT Score.

Syllabus :


There are three sections under Cognitive Skills test:
1. Numerical Ability

3. Verbal Ability

There are two sections under Industry NQT test:
1. Programming MCQs
2. Coding Questions

To prepare for any, we should solve all previous year papers. It is highly recommended to solve atleast 5-6 previous year question paper of TCS NQT.
